London, October 4, 2024 — Scarlet41 is proud to announce the launch of its Global Impactor: Resilient Trade program with a high-level trade mission to Bermuda from February 16-19, 2025. This strategic initiative will see a delegation of 14 senior executives from the Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers’ Association (TTMA) engage with government and business leaders in Bermuda to explore new opportunities for bilateral trade and collaboration.
The delegation will be led by Scarlet41’s Chairman and Director of Oversight, Mr. Pearce Robinson, in partnership with Scotscraft Bermuda and the Government of Bermuda. Joining the delegation will be Trinidad and Tobago’s Minister of Trade and Industry, Paula Gopee-Scoon, along with her aides, representing the country’s strong commitment to fostering economic partnerships.
This mission is further supported by a special partnership with Rosewood Hotel Group, sponsored by its Group CEO Sonia Cheng, which has provided Scarlet41 with premium Harbour View One Bedroom Suites at the Rosewood Bermuda for all TTMA delegates at a favorable rate. These luxurious accommodations, typically retailing for $2,963 USD per night, will serve as a base for the delegation’s strategic meetings and events.
The mission will focus on advancing key trade discussions, particularly in sectors such as food and beverage, construction, chemicals, and hardware. High-level meetings with Government are expected to facilitate negotiations around trade agreements, tariff exemptions, and creating a smoother pathway for Trinbagonian goods to enter the Bermudian market.
“This trade mission is an important step in strengthening our regional and international trade ties. Scarlet41’s Global Impactor program is designed to build resilient business partnerships that will boost growth and sustainability for Caribbean manufacturers in global markets,” said Mr. Pearce Robinson. “This initiative also marks a crucial opportunity to engage youth in leadership and diplomacy, ensuring the next generation is equipped to drive forward international trade relations.”
By fostering B2B engagements and exploring policy improvements, this mission aims to secure tangible trade benefits for both Trinidad and Tobago and Bermuda. As part of Scarlet41’s broader goal of creating robust international trade frameworks, this mission will highlight the organization’s focus on driving innovation, enhancing global collaboration, and supporting economic growth through meaningful partnerships.
